22km southeastern from Parikia, near the tourist village of Logaras is maybe the most beautiful and the most famous beach of Paros called New Golden beach Paros or Nea Chryssi Akti or Tserdakia (yes it is known with three (3) names).  Paros New Golden beach is famous for the golden sand which is approximately 800 meters and the crystal blue water.

Along with the closeby Golden beach, Nea Chryssi Akti is considered a true paradise for wind surfers and a great swimming location for tourists around the world. The main feature of the beach is the windsurf world championship which has been established to be conducted there since the early 90s.

The beach is fully equipped and has a blue flag. It is very well-organized with umbrellas, sundecks and bars offering food and drink. There are many water sports centers that provide training for all ages. There are facilities even for beach volley, for water sports and diving schools offering courses.

In the surrounding area you will find rooms to let, tourist shops, boat rentals, etc.

How to get to New Golden beach Paros

By car: follow the path to Marpissa to New Drios and then to Golden Beach.

By bus: take the bus line Parikia - Oak and get off at New Golden Beach. Ticket costs: 2.80 (standard), 1.40 (half), 2.20 (student), 3.50 (night).
