Mykonos transportation
Here are the main Mykonos transportation ways:
Buses
Mykonos has a high quality network of road that covers the entire island. The buses schedules are regular and well organised.
Mykonos Town has two buses stations.
The southern station (Fabrika square) has frequent departures to all south coast Mykonos beaches: Ornos, Agios Ioannis, Paranga, Psarou, Platis Yialos, and Paradise Beach .
The northern station, behind the archaeological museum, has frequent departures to the north coast beaches: Agios Stefanos and Tourlos, and the east coast beaches: Kalafati, Kalo Livadi, Elia, and Ano Mera village.
Taxis
There is a fleet of taxis centred in Mykonos Town Square.
Standards rates for each destination are given on board. Taxis do not use meters. You will easily find a Taxi at airport or at the port. There is also a radio taxi service (tel: 23700/22400)
Caïques
Caïques: small fishing boats used in summer as tourist transportation. The main caïques' center is located on the port of Platis Yialos, near the bus stop from/to Mykonos Town. Caïques leave every hour or less to the following beaches:
Paranga, Paradise, Super Paradise, Agrari and Elia.
There are also caïques which go to the archeological site of Delos.
From Mykonos Town, caïques leave for: Super Paradise, Agrari and Elia beaches.
